About Me

Hi I’m Nala Gold. Thanks for stopping by!

Scholar, teacher, artist, model and athlete. These days I reside in Shanghai, China and I’m loving every second of it. No one day is like another and the cultural experience is unequivocal. I encourage you all to step outside of your comfort zone and dare to explore the world around you. Get to know yourself, shake hands with a stranger, live in the moment and commit to being a lifelong learner.

The purpose of this blog is to share my personal experiences as I work, travel, play and grow throughout my journey. I hope to inform, motivate, inspire and engage my readers, so feel free to drop a comment or message me directly.

HOBBIES

I enjoy listening to and writing music as well as poetry. I like almost all genres, so there’s no telling what you might hear next on my playlist when set to shuffle. I’m always up for watching a new movie or reading an interesting fiction or nonfiction book. Traveling and experiencing new cultures is fun for me, and I’m a tad bit upset with myself that I didn’t start exploring sooner. I love meeting new people that are open minded, unique, authentically and unapologetically themselves! I’m fairly active and I still enjoying playing basketball when the opportunity presents itself; I don’t travel anywhere without my sneakers (stay ready). 😀
