Fashion and culture collide in preparation of the annual Shanghai Black Fashion Week events. Designers represented 9 countries including: France, Ghana, China, Ukraine, Russia, USA, Chad, Congo and Italy, all hoping to land an opportunity to feature their designs on the Shanghai Black Fashion Week runway. A panel of prestigious judges and an excited audience shared a 50/50 influence on deciding who the finalist amongst the designers would be. Judges included the likes of Hu PanYang– CEO of Nightfly, fashion designer, fashion buyer and Strategic Planner for SHBFW; Tracey Cunningham– Model Consultant, Fashion Photography Director, Fashion Buyer and Stylist; Michael– Former Asia Pacific CEO, President of US Green Solutions, Executive Business Coach and Actor; Ruoping– Fashion Designer; Qinran– Fashion Designer, Fashion Buyer, Film Producer, Brand PR (HIPANDA), and Stylist; Benjamin– CEO of B&S Bespoke, Co-Founder and CEO of SBFW, Creative Director of SBFW, Designer and stylist. SBFW represents more than what the title may infer; it represents a collaboration of culture, unity and inclusivity, creativity, style and most importantly FASHION!
